Atlanta Philly Italian Pasta & Subs

1st...my credentials. Grew up in Yonkers area. Lived in Hollis Queens, Long Beach NY. Relo to ATL. I know subs, pizza, and bagels. I take those 3 things very seriously. Now let’s get to it. I didn’t know what to expect since I haven’t been here before. It’s like a real city vibe in there. It’s take out only.Go to the window on the left to place your order. I didn’t know that so I ended up clicking the DoorDash button while I sat in the chair because I couldn’t figure out how to place an order. There’s no menu so make sure you know what you want before you go in. The menu is online. But if you really need a menu, I don’t know how you get through your daily life in this world. You know what you want, tell them what you want and get it done. The people before me ordered Italian subs and a few others ordered turkey. I chatted with some of these folks as we were waiting for our orders and this has become an institution in this area. The feedback is incredible. The customers are dedicated to this place. Don’t believe the negative Nelly reviews on here. You’ll always find those one and two star crybabies. They’ll be eating at Subway next time. For me, I’m already thinking about my next sub from here. Probably will be the turkey ham combo. Anyway, let’s get to the meat of the matter. These are some damn good subs. I knew it would be, otherwise I would not have done an hour round-trip for this. It’s wrapped like a real heavy duty sub. This is a no nonsense sub situation right here. See my photo. It will be the whole length of your arm from elbow to wrist. That was my first clue these people are serious about feeding you. Don’t be cheap.....spend your 15 on this and you will not regret it. Be hungry, don’t complain, just eat. Remember, no nonsense. Meat is perfectly sliced. I had an Italian combo. I like it very thinly sliced. The ham is incredible. The other meats are perfect as well. Shredded lettuce and provolone and banana peppers. Oil vinegar. All good. Bread is perfect. You’d swear you are either in Philadelphia or maybe New York. This is more of a Philly sub because the bread is a little softer than a New York bread. But still incredible and still worth the effort to get here and make it happen. I’ve been craving a real sub for the last six months down here in the Atlanta area. I can’t be eating Subway, Jimmy John’s, Blimpie’s, Publix, Jersey Mike’s, Firehouse Subs, Which Wich, be real. If you eat any of those brands and actually like it, you should be ashamed of yourself. Get here. Get serious. Change your life. Your welcome.

The service was excellent and the food was fantastic!!! I ordered the Vegan “Meat” Lovers pizza, lemon cake slice, and strawberry lemonade. I did substitute for regular cheese instead of the vegan cheese. When I say this pizza was sooooo good, the cake was so moist, and the lemonade was on point! I don’t eat meat, so I was very happy to eat a pizza with vegan “meat” options instead of the basic cheese. I was very pleased to finding this hidden gem

I ordered through Uber Eats the food was delicious. The Italian sub was huge! The only thing I would say is add more mustard and vinegar to the Italian. The Red Velvet was 10 out of 10

My vegan steak and cheese sub was awesome. My partners vegan meatball sub was wonderful! So, when I unwrapped my steak sandwich I was shocked by cold lettuce and tomato on it like toppings. This was actually excellent! The building left a little to be desired, but that's OK. It's takeout only. No dine in. They did say they had a table in the back they would bring out. But we skipped that. The man was fine at register, the lady who brought out the food though was great. She even said 'hope to see you tomorrow'. Definitely go here. I was just traveling through searching vegan and that's how I found them.

I highly recommend this restaurant, if you’re vegan or vegetarian. This was my second time coming in. They don’t have that many options but for the options they do have, taste great. The staff here is very friendly, kind and helpful. I ordered the vegan meatball pasta and added mushrooms this visit. It tasted amazing and it was a great portion size for the price. It comes with bread, but I only wished that they had butter on the side or butter on the bread.

I ordered thru Doordash a week ago and have ordered 2 times since.The Italian sub is amazing! Better than any sub I've had in years! Knocks publix out. They put a ton of meat and the veggies are fresh and crisp. I have also ordered one of the salads and it was delicious as well. Turning all of my hospital friends onto this place. My wishes for this place is homemade ranch and vineagarette dressings and an Italian salad on the doordash menu. Thanks guys! Ate my sub before pics....

This place has the BEST tasting steak sandwich ever. The meat is seasoned so well, and you can taste it in every bite. Good every time I purchase it, every time. Then there's the Large Italian Sub, and large it is, worth it, worth it, worth it. They have delicious dessert also, so you will not go wrong at this stop. I tried the steak and cheese on top of my salad, and that was a very good salad. If you need something quick and on the go, this is the spot. This is my spot. Just don't say, "I want a philly cheesesteak", just say cheesesteak.
